Born and raised in Ventura County, California, Shon picked up a pen with her left hand. At age 2, Shon (Darshonna Lieberman) drew a whale.  From then on, she told her story through images. This self-taught artist’s creativity took her to new heights in 2009, when she started painting. As a painter, her medium is acrylic on canvas. This tortured artist battled with addiction, depression, an eating disorder and trauma. Through years of ups and downs, she can hold her head up high, sober and more creative than ever before. This humble artist has more talent than she admits. Through each new painting, Shon digs a little deeper and as a result her paintings gets better every time.
